“I was literally singing to myself on the way home…The tension, the desire to kill a woman, had built up in me to such explosive proportions that when I finally pulled the trigger, all the pressures, all the tensions, hatred, just vanished, dissipated, but only for a short time.”
John Wayne Gacy aka Pogo the Clown, an american serial killer who lured, assaulted and killed at least 33 (that we know of) young male victims. Most of Gacy's victims were discovered buried underneath his Chicago home in the late 70s and Gacy was finally convicted in 1980. Gacy is often credited as an influence behind several on screen characters such Pennywise from IT and Twisty the clown from the American Horror Story. Gacy adopted his famous clown persona in the mid 70s performing as Pogo the Clown at children's hospitals, fundraising events and various party functions hosted by democratic figures. As a side note, it is interesting that Gacy throughout his life was able to quickly promote himself in society and was known to be friendly with various officials and democratic figures. The whole Gacy story is fascinating, but terribly tragic for the victims and the victims families. One area of Gacy's story that I find particularly interesting is his execution in 1994 which didn’t exactly go according to script and the “conspiracy theories” that surround the execution are intriguing to consider. On May 9th 1994 Gacy after his final meal of KFC (Coincidentally Gacy also managed several KFC restaurants), Strawberries and diet coke Gacy was taken to the execution room with an audience. For his final words Gacy snarled to the executioner “Kiss my a**e”. The IV tubes were inserted and the various execution chemicals began to flow, however the chemicals unexpectedly coagulated causing a blockage and the curtains were drawn. After 10 minutes the curtains reopened and the execution resumed. What took place behind those curtains is interesting to speculate. I have seen several theories including a body swap, an occult ritual taking place (there are various occult symbols and coincidences throughout his life) and the more likely scenario of the executioners purposely botching the execution to ensure Gacy suffered like his victims. The tragic (for his victims) story of John Wayne Gacys has so many legs, I couldn’t possibly sum it up in one post but i thoroughly recommend a study of this despicable character. #johnwaynegacy A post shared by Danny Thinks (@danny.thinks) on Dec 2, 2019 at 1:41pm PST
